Welcome from
Dave Middleton, Executive Chair of amii.
We are delighted to welcome you to the 2025 Autumn Health & Wellbeing.
Over the past year, we’ve continued to see both challenges and opportunities across our sector. While clarity around future government policy on health incentives remains elusive, it is encouraging to see an increasing recognition—both in government and among employers—of the vital role prevention, wellbeing, and early intervention play in creating a healthier nation. As an industry, we continue to demonstrate our ability to innovate and lead the way in supporting better health outcomes, and events like today give us a valuable opportunity to share, learn, and influence that direction together.
We have a varied agenda that reflects the breadth and energy of our industry and includes topics based on your feedback.
Dr Rebecca Mansfield will open the morning sessions with an exploration of lifestyle medicine and its role in helping people live well. She’ll be followed by Ian Forrester, who will guide us through the fast-developing world of AI—its risks, opportunities, and the importance of trust.
Our late-morning panel, chaired by Paula Coffey of Unum UK, will bring together leading voices —Kelly McCabe from Perci Health, Professor Ben Kelly of Reframe Cancer and Sarah Taylor of Healix Health — to discuss the changing landscape of cancer treatment and support services—an area where collaboration and innovation are transforming patient experience and outcomes.
We’ll also touch on vital industry topics during the compliance fireside chat, including non-financial misconduct, regulatory change, and AI risk—ensuring we continue to balance innovation with integrity.
After lunch, Dr Roshane Mohidin of Aviva Health will take a look at the future landscape of health insurance, and the day will finish with our keynote speaker, Dr Samantha Heiw, whose session on humanising neurodiversity will offer fresh insight into one of the most important conversations shaping workplaces and healthcare today.
We hope you find today’s sessions thought-provoking, the discussions lively, and the networking opportunities rewarding. Thank you for joining us and for your continued commitment to advancing health, wellbeing, and choice in the UK.
