Welcome from
Dave Middleton, Executive Chair of amii.

We are delighted to welcome you to this year’s Spring Health & Wellbeing Summit, once again incorporating our Annual General Meeting.
Today promises to be an engaging and insightful day, bringing together thought leaders and industry professionals to share perspectives on the key issues shaping our sector. We have built an agenda that reflects both the challenges and opportunities ahead—from the evolving role of AI in health and wellbeing, to the regulatory landscape, clinical innovation, and the development of our training offering.
We begin with a review of amii’s year and voting, followed by Treasurer Paul Swanson presenting the Association’s 2024 financial statements.
We are particularly excited to welcome Yasmin Greenaway, Founder and CEO of Dermie.AI, as she explores the real and future impact of AI on our sector. This is followed by a regulatory panel discussion providing insight into the current environment.
After a mid-morning break and networking opportunity, we resume with Liam Kennedy outlining the latest on our training offering, and Paula Coffey from Unum UK sharing clinical case studies focused on early intervention and positive outcomes. Our keynote speaker this year is Matt Lindley—his journey and experiences are certain to leave a lasting impression.
As always, we aim to deliver value, provoke thought, and create space for meaningful conversations with fellow members and colleagues. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Executive Committee for their continued work and support throughout the year, and also our General Secretary, Tina Jennings, whose dedication and insight remain invaluable.
The external landscape continues to be a mix of uncertainty and cautious optimism. While NHS pressures persist, demand for private provision stays strong. With inflation slowing and hopes for interest rate relief, we look to the future with guarded positivity.
Finally, thank you for being here and, above all, for being members. amii is only as strong as its community, and your ongoing support is what enables us to thrive.
We hope you have a rewarding day.
