Adrian Nye

Supply Chain Director, Aviva Health & Protection

Adi Nye is Supply Chain Director for Aviva Health & Protection. He joined insurer General Accident in 1995 and has enjoyed a number of actuarial, financial and commercial roles across the evolving Aviva businesses.  Adi moved into his current role in 2019 just prior to the COVID pandemic and is responsible for the strategy, performance and operational delivery of the private medical supply chain for the Health and Protection business as well as leading on the claims and medical underwriting philosophy for the Health business.

Adi is passionate about delivering better outcomes for our customers, ensuring that they get seamless access to the best care, advice and support in managing their Health and Wellbeing. Adi was previously CFO of the Aviva Health business and formally a director of the hospital procurement joint venture Healthcare Purchasing Alliance.  He has been a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) since 2000.

Outside of work Adi is married with 5 children who keep him very busy. In the little time remaining he enjoys running and cycling, and since lock-down has been learning to play the drums.

Paula Coffey

Director of Claims, Rehabilitation, and Medical Services, Unum UK

Paula Coffey began her career as a registered general nurse and is now Director of Claims, Rehabilitation, and Medical Services at Unum UK, a leading employee benefits provider. With over 20 years of experience in the insurance and healthcare sectors, Paula has held senior positions at Bupa, Canada Life, UnumProvident, and Cardif Pinnacle (BNP Paribas).

Before joining Unum UK, Paula also worked in a consultancy role within the NHS, continuing to maintain a strong interest in the evolving healthcare landscape. As a recognised thought leader, Paula regularly speaks at industry conferences and contributes to publications.

Robert Bain

Head of Intermediary Distribution, Bupa

Robert Bain currently leads Bupa’s intermediary distribution function for Bupa UK Insurance. 

He has 24 years experience with Bupa, previously running Bupa’s Corporate client management teams, his current role spans across all segments and functions in the UK and is accountable for developing Bupa’s intermediary partnerships.

 

Kelly Morris

Head of Client Retention and Client Delivery, AXA Health

Kelly leads the mid corporate client retention and delivery teams at AXA Health and is Chair of AXA’s Health Services’ Senior Leadership Team, covering Occupational Health, EAP and Proactive Health services.

A chartered insurer with 25 years sales and account management experience in the private medical insurance and health employee benefits sector, Kelly has extensive experience of corporate health insurance, including healthcare Trusts, cashplan and dental insurance as well as EAP, Occupational Health and corporate absence management programmes. She also has led and been involved in projects relating to the design and launch of new digital healthcare services, including a health and wellbeing app and a digital triage / treatment room for mental health conditions.

She is passionate about building high performing teams that deliver to the needs of corporate clients as well as being hands on helping clients make the best decisions to manage the health and wellbeing of their employees. 


Dr Katie Tryon

Director of Health Strategy, Vitality

Dr Katie Tryon is the Director of Health Strategy for Vitality in the UK. In this role she leads Vitality’s work in behaviour change, health improvement and primary care. Prior to this, Katie lived in Kenya for seven years where she served as the Head of Health Strategy for IBM Africa and then more recently the Head of Strategy and New Projects for CarePay, a health tech financing platform for Africa. Before leaving the UK for Kenya, Katie was the Head of Technical Marketing and Clinical Vitality for PruHealth (which subsequently became Vitality).

Earlier in Katie’s career she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey, and prior to this trained as a medical doctor at Oxford University and Imperial College London. Katie is passionate about the development of sustainable healthcare systems around the world and continues to pursue this through the Vitality model. Katie is also an enthusiastic sportswoman that loves to turn her hand to any sport offered to her, a trait that is luckily shared by her husband and three children.
